Peak Scanner App Reviews

Worked sometimes on the western slope of the Rockies. Never have been able to get it to function properly in Wyoming or the eastern slope. Its more frustrating than helpful.

Good idea and looks, but very inaccurate here in the Smokeys. Bought for a iPhone 4S, but turned out to be more of a clever gimmick. Will not open on a 6+. Switched to PeakFinder Earth, which works much better.

This is interactive done right. Great concept, beautifully done. If you live in or near the mountains or use them recreationally, this is a must have app. Lots of fun!!

This app is ok. When I point at a peak in a range of mountains, there are too many other peaks that come up too. I am using peak scanner to help me find the names, so when I have all those surrounding names too it doesnt really help. Also, I would like to know the name of the mountain range.

Love this app. I have a nice mountain view and now can find out the names of some of them. Would be good if it would zoom in to the more distant mountains and filter out ones that are close up.
