... la quinta stella quando verrà aggiunta la cartografia, attualmente grave mancanza.
Poor app. Waste of money. Even make it very difficult to review. Don't recognize known mountains in plain site HUGE battery drain Want refund
Amazing that my app annotated in French. Have never found a way to set preferred language. Consequentially I don’t have a clue if it’s displays are valid/accurate. Net = useless
Comically inaccurate.
...so the app doesn’t work at all. A disappointment and waste of $,
App is questionable. I live at 5,400’ altitude but app says 1,700’. Mountain out my back door is 14,000’ Mt Evans, but app thinks it is 5,000, and a peak in France. Aguille du Mudi is allegedly to the South of my house...how I wish.
I’m not happy with this app at all. I was looking directly at Mt Lemmon near Tucson AZ and the app didn’t see the mountain. I played with all of the settings and regardless the app would not identify the second tallest mountain in AZ. If I could ask for my money back, I would
I'm on the island of Hawaii and the app doesn't seem to be aware of Mauna Kea. It finds Mauna Loa okay but does not even show Mauna Kea even though I'm in Hilo looking right at it with the range extended all the way.
Complete waste of money. Could not recognize peaks directly in front of us and close. Put peaks in the sky. Never been so disappointed in a app I was looking forwarded to using.
Very impressed with peak scanner app for identifying mountains. Works very well in the Denver Colorado and Rocky Mountain national Park area. However, the range adjustment may not be working. Even though I increase the range setting, Peak Scanner still does not show me the names of peaks that are further away. However, once I'm closer to that peak, Peak Scanner correctly identifies and names it. Very cool app. Thank you for creating it. Kurt
This app is terrible. Gives you a completely different location then where you are.
I've gone through the settings several times, closed the app and restarted my phone. It doesn't recognize local peaks but it is showing dozens of peaks almost directly over my head. They all appear to be in the French alps. It's a little cloudy overhead so maybe they're there and I never noticed them but I suspect that's not the problem. A friend has an app of the same name running on a different operating system and it's brilliant. I had high hopes.
From our house I can see a 9,800 ft mountain about 30 miles away. The app doesn't pick it up even after adjusting the range option. It also indicates peaks that are not in the direction you point your phone. I'll try it from another location to see if the GPS will respond better but so far not impressed.
Absolutely useless. As I sit in Georgia pointing at the local mountains, all of them report names in French unrelated to their real names
Love this app. I have a nice mountain view and now can find out the names of some of them. Would be good if it would zoom in to the more distant mountains and filter out ones that are close up.
This app is ok. When I point at a peak in a range of mountains, there are too many other peaks that come up too. I am using peak scanner to help me find the names, so when I have all those surrounding names too it doesn't really help. Also, I would like to know the name of the mountain range.
This is interactive done right. Great concept, beautifully done. If you live in or near the mountains or use them recreationally, this is a must have app. Lots of fun!!

Doesn't seem to work on big mountains in the distance
Good idea and looks, but very inaccurate here in the Smokeys. Bought for a iPhone 4S, but turned out to be more of a clever gimmick. Will not open on a 6+. Switched to PeakFinder Earth, which works much better.
Worked sometimes on the western slope of the Rockies. Never have been able to get it to function properly in Wyoming or the eastern slope. It's more frustrating than helpful.
Ten miles from Granite Peak, the highest point in Montana, and it draws a blank. Next peak over, same thing. Worthless.
I'm in Portland, OR, and there are two (sometimes three) *giant* mountains visible. There are also a couple dozen "hills". This app shows all the close-in hills that no one knows or cares about, but completely ignores the huge, distant mountains. The peaks listed should be prioritized by apparent size, not by distance. And the distance should extend to at least 100KM, the usual limits of visibility.
Gives incorrect mountains most of the time and can't click on name for more info or picture. Only useful as a way to get a list of mountains in the vicinity to look up somewhere else.
Not pleased. App lacks any sort of accuracy what-so-ever
Sweet app, could use further distances out from the phone for use when you can see the mountains but are too fat away for the app to pick them up. Also, miles and feet units would be great for us muricans.
Always wanted an app like this
Every time I tried to use this app the rate this app screen came up and blocked everything. So now that I have rated it maybe I can use it.
It doesn't work. Bad app. Should be pulled from the market.
Works, but it's not exactly accurate! Is usually one summit off either left or right. Was on a summit next to Mount Washington in the White Mountains and it was able to find all surrounding mountains EXCEPT Mt. Washington, The highest peak in the area. Work out the bugs, and it will be fantastic.
This app does not work at all for me. It looks like the compass data does not get updated: it always reads -1degree N ( the normal compass app on my phone works fine). I love the idea - I wish it worked!
Look no further, this app is great if you ever wanted to know the name or height of that hill or mountain. It also shows the line of sight distance to the top and other data. The best feature is it works inside a building when the mountain can't be seen or is obstructed. I use it on my iPhone 5. More feedback: To change to miles/feet go into your iPhone settings, scroll down to and click on the app. Turn off the metric measurements. The scanner defaults to English measurements.

Works pretty good once you get the hang of it. It's in metric and I cannot figure out how to switch it to feet
Peaks picked out hover over the landscape and jump around constantly. None of the peaks line up with what is shown on the horizon.
